about cecilia ramos

Cecilia Ramos is an artist and designer whose work lives at the intersection of form, feeling, and storytelling.

Educated in architecture and art at Princeton and MIT, her work channels the rigor of spatial thinking and painterly intuition into luminous compositions and experiences.

Composing with color

Her synesthetic perception, where color and music converge, enriches her designs with unexpected chromatic harmony and dimension.

Her practice is driven by curiosity, observation, and a reverence for our sublime world.

She seeks inspiration in terrains both wild and woven where atmosphere holds color, such as the Atacama Desert in Chile, the expansive tundra of Alaska, or the tactile richness of India.

Each jewel, each creation that emerges, reflects her ability to translate memory, movement, and material into experiences that feel both deeply personal, alive, and joyous.

What results are not just objects of beauty, but small worlds your imagination inhabits.

The jewelry becomes a character in a broader world

about the practice

Cecilia Ramos produces a limited number of works each year, ranging from collectible pieces to bespoke commissions. Each piece is hand crafted, ensuring complete control over design, material selection, and finish.

Rather than following collections,  the practice moves through realms: conceptual chapters that guide the tone, palette, and sculptural language of each body of work. This allows the jewelry to remain timeless, intimate, and deeply rooted in artistic exploration.

From sketch to final form

I.Artistic Foundations

Forms are developed through drawings, clay, wireframes, and wax, giving attention to balance, movement, and how the piece occupies space.

II.Stone-Led Design

Each stone is chosen for character and presence — unusual cuts, distinct textures, rare tonalities — allowing the stone to guide the final composition.

III.Handcrafted Detail

Settings, polishing, and finishes are executed with meticulous detail. Adjustments are carefully made to ensure the pieces feel at home on the body when worn.

iv.Emotional Intent

Every work carries a point of origin: a memory, a sensory impression, or an abstract study that informs the final aesthetic.

art

Beyond jewelry, Cecilia Ramos produces artworks, color studies, and immersive paintings.

These works form the foundation of each realm, a visual archive that shapes the language of the jewelry collections.

Select paintings are available for acquisition, and the studio welcomes commissioned works developed in dialogue.
